I watched a really intriguing BBC talkie on television lately. It was questioning whether sport has come too
professional. Several top professionals from different sports were canvassed and asked for their views.
Of course these are talented individualities who have reached the top of their chosen sport by through fidelity,
immolation and hard training. But one thing they all agreed on was amazing- they tête-à-tête felt the key to
their success was to just go out onto the pitch, field, course, court or whatever- and enjoy it! These top
sporting professionals make a conscious trouble to enjoy the game just as they did when they were a sprat
and playing with sheer pleasure and enthusiasm. Of course, they’ve tactics and a strategy to apply, but the
main thing was to enjoy playing the game without allowing about it too much.
What has this got to do with you and me playing poker? Well, I suppose we can put too important pressure on
ourselves to finish in the plutocrat, get to the final table, win the event, stick strictly to a particular strategy
and so on that we end up just not relaxing and enjoying the poker game! Which is actually ridiculous.
still, also I go you I get so over tight that I am generally one of the first guys out, If I go into a poker game
telling myself that I must finish in the top 3.
It’s amazing how occasionally just relaxing a bit, playing a bit looser and just enjoying yourself can affect in
further poker winnings.
I flash back some of the freshman’s luck I had when I first started playing poker. Actually, it was really
because I was just enjoying the game. I was not getting tied up in knots trying to work out the stylish way of
playing this or that hand. I just played what I allowed were good hands and left the rest up to chance.
Try to always enjoy your poker, it might appreciatively impact your winnings!
